The data consists of HR information with more than 22,000 entries spanning from 2000 to 2020.

Data Cleaning & Analysis

The data was processed and analyzed using MySQL Workbench.

Summary of Findings

  • There are more male employees than female employees.
  • White is the predominant race, while Native Hawaiian and American Indian are the least represented.
  • Employees’ ages range from 21 to 58, with the majority falling into the 35-44 age group.
  • A significant number of employees work at the headquarters compared to remote locations.
  • The average length of employment for terminated employees is approximately 8 years.
  • Gender distribution across departments is generally balanced, but there are more males than females overall.
  • The Marketing department has the highest turnover rate, followed by Training and Human Resources, while Research and Development, Auditing, and Support have the lowest turnover rates.
  • Many employees come from the state of Ohio.
